Not imposing at all, sits nicely in the corner
I'm really chuffed with this DVD Cabinet. It all fitted together in a couple of hours and that was with a mere woman wielding the screwdriver! The only quibble is that I had two shelves left over - probably because the unit is designed for both DVD's and CD's and I needed storage only for the former, but not a problem - handy to have for the future should I wish to change the configuration. It looks really good in our living room - like a natural beech wood effect combined with the black - very smart. Even hanging the glass doors was a treat and it all arrived very well packaged with no damage whatsoever. All just excellent.
Lovely slim line cabinet
It took all 120 CDs looks nice in my lounge very pleased
When seen the WATSON MANHATTAN on line I thought to mount it Horizontally and stack 4or5 on top of each other, when it arrived and assembled it, found my idea would not work without cutting and weakening the door mount edges, decided to mount them side by side 5x and step stagger them from a low point of approx. 8" above my existing radiator, I already have strong brackets to hold them up. I am a DVD collector and have almost run out of space, cannot purchase any more horizontal units with sliding glass doors "IKEA" has stopped manufacturing them so have to use the MANHATTON because it has glass door. My wife likes the idea of not having to dust open shelves. I will have to order 4 more units but will not install them until OCTOBER as the room will not be ready before, due to a water leak and collapsed ceiling. Wish me luck!
